CELL AND GENE THERAPY MANUFACTURING

SEED TRAIN INTENSIFICATION

The Membio 0.2-10 L system can automate and replace the entire seed train for production volumes up to 2,500 LAchieve high cell densities in Membio bioreactors using perfusion. This allows for the elimination of intermediary steps and the production of enough cells to inoculate bioreactors that are up to 250x larger in volume.

The Membio bioreactor system can be inoculated with as few as 50 million cells and offers the flexibility to configure a seed train suitable for seeding bioreactors from 10-2,500 L. By reducing the number of steps in your seed train, the risk of process failure, the labour required, and the process footprint are also reduced.
